Junior & Senior Freight Operations

Due to continued success a long-established Irish owned Freight Forwarder, specializing in European road and sea freight, now seek to hire a Junior and Senior Operations Customer Support Clerk.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Processing telephone, e-mail and website enquiries from customers’ orders, booking collections and deliveries.
  • Liaise with customers to inform them of progress and keep customers updated of their shipments.
  • Internal operations support to all the business functions.
  • Dealing with customer operations from booking to delivery.

Requirements & Experience

  • Experience within a freight forwarding operations, customer service, office admin, advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.
  • Fluent in English written and spoken.
  • A second European language would be beneficial.
  • Ability to use your own initiative and make informed decisions,
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to work as part of a team, able to provide helpful assistance to our customers.
  • Pleasant and professional telephone manner. Previous customer service experience may be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.)
  • A desire to learn about our services, systems and customers.
  • Excellent levels of commitment and motivation.


Full time, Permanent, Office based, Monday to Friday, normal office hours.


Salary Negotiable.
