Our client, a North Dublin based food distributor, are seeking to hire 2 rigid drivers to join their fast-paced team. The delivery team are required to handle, unload, and deliver frozen, chilled, and ambient products to customers across Ireland. For this reason, customer service, preparation, time-management, operation of the delivery vehicle, cash handling and paperwork will be areas that the successful candidate will need experience with.
Minimum requirements:
- Full Category C licence
- Digi card holder
- Driver Qualification Card holder (all dCPC modules completed and up to date)
- Good geographical knowledge of Greater Dublin area
- Solid customer service skills, with good verbal & written English communication skills.
- Ability to comply with driver’s hours & tachograph legislation
- Minimum of 1 year's multi-drop delivery experience (Desirable)
- Previous experience of temperature-controlled vehicles (Desirable)
- Manual handling & food safety awareness (Desirable)
Terms:
Permanent, full-time position (5 days over 7)
Package:
- €172 per day, €860 per week, €44,400 per year
- Subsistence Rates Range from €16.291 to €36.97 included in the day rate
- Annual Performance bonus - €2000
- Your salary will be payable weekly.
