Dublin City Centre based Freight forwarding company now seeks to hire a Seafreight Forwarder for a maternity cover contract. There is also a view to permanency within an ever-expanding Freight Forwarding department.
The successful candidate must be able to work on their own initiative as well as integrating themselves with other team members who may be working remotely or in our Dublin HQ.
Duties & Responsibilities

Deep sea & short sea experience is a must including full loads and LCL, Import and Export.

A working knowledge of airfreight import and exports.

Day to day operations to include dealing with customers/customs
clearance/invoicing/creditors invoices/customer & other reports/other administration duties

Liaising with clients, hauliers, overseas offices and agents

Responsible for communicating with customers and understanding customer requirements

Perform administration tasks efficiently and to a high standard, in accordance with departmental requirements

Preparation of documentation
-
Any Ad Hoc tasks or projects that need to be on.
Requirements

Experience in a similar role

A good working knowledge of MS Word & Excel

Terms:
Full-time / 9 - 12 month Maternity Cover contract
