A globally recognized North Dublin-based logistics and supply chain management company now seeks to hire a Supply Chain Information Manager. With a strong international presence, the Company specializes in providing innovative solutions to optimize the flow of goods within complex supply chains.
The Supply Chain Information Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of goods within the supply chain to EMEA locations and reverse logistics to EMEA warehouses.
Responsible for coordination, documentation, and problem-solving, this position demands a keen eye for detail and excellent organizational skills, ensuring effective communication and process management.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Coordinate the movement of goods throughout the supply chain, ensuring timely pick, pack, and ship processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Oversee and maintain accurate logistics documentation, including shipping records, invoices, and customs documentation.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and trade requirements.
- Address and resolve logistics issues promptly, implementing short-notice solutions to meet customer shipping and delivery requirements.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Sourcing, and Customer Support to align on customer-specific solutions.
- Communicate effectively with the warehouse team to manage information around pick, pack, and ship processes.
- Work closely with logistics and transport management to meet delivery SLAs.
- Manage third-party booking systems for the movement of customer products.
- Manage reverse logistics shipments to the warehouse and coordinate third-party shipments as required.
- Monitor and track freight security, collaborating with external security partners.
- Ensure compliance with data classification processes, ISO certifications, and all relevant security and IT policies.
- Generate and interpret reports on On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance.
- Maintain meticulous document control, ensuring shipping and freight documentation accuracy and compliance.
- Manage proof of delivery and retrieve missing PODs.
- Provide backup solutions when necessary, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions in a timely manner.
- Handle all administration tasks, including filing, queries, and meeting setups in accordance with customer requirements.
Requirements:
- Recognized third-level qualification in International Business Management, Business, Logistics or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Logistics, Transport documentation, and Freight Administration.
- Demonstrated understanding of international truck movements, freight systems, and hardware identification.
- Proficient in PC Skills (Microsoft Office suite) and telephone communication.
- Initiative, Solution Orientation, Collaboration, Organisational Commitment.
- Proficiency in working with Google Sheets and Excel (including macros).
- Flexible and adaptable to perform tasks outside the normal work area.
- Occasional travel abroad may be required.
Terms:
Fulltime, permanent, Hybrid role with two days office attendance required.
