A leading international temperature controlled packaging specialist, now seek a Warehouse Operator & Administrator for their new facility in Ballycoolin, Dublin 11. This is a 3 month temping role with potential for an extension or permanent contract. Core duties will include;
- Inventory management of packaging systems and components
- Ability to learn the principals of cold chain management
- Reusable packaging refurbishment
- Safe handling of materials.
- Receipt and put away of stock within the warehouse.
- Weekly stock check of packaging materials. Reporting any damaged packaging to the relevant people
- Ensuring there is enough packaging in stock.
- Building the packaging requirement as per clients specifications.
- Preparing documentation to accompany the goods.
- Load, unload company vehicles with packaging scheduled for collections
- Checks correctness and completeness of consignment during pickup/delivery from warehouse to client
- Adhering to company health and safety policies.
- Ensure that the warehouse always remains clean and tidy – inside and out – and fire exits clear of obstructions.
Job / Person Specification:
- Min 2 years’ experience working in a busy warehouse.
- Experience in stocktaking
- Computer knowledge (Windows 10, excel and word) and WMS exposure an advantage
- Ability to multitasking
- Good organizational and communication skills (Fluent English)
- Uses own initiative
- High attention to details
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to work flexible days/time.
- Authorisation to work full-time in Ireland without restriction
