Position: Warehouse Supervisor

Job Overview:
Long-established Irish family-owned Freight Forwarder, specializing in European road and seafreight, now seek to hire an experienced Warehouse Supervisor. The purpose of the role is to act as the Supervisor for our Dublin 22, 3 rd Party warehouse, ensuring the safe offloading and loading of cargo to/from our European trailers and containers. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, in and out of the warehouse to meet the overall needs of the business, whilst keeping the Operations office updated on all aspects of the arrival and re-delivery of the cargo.
Duties & Responsibilities
- To effectively liaise and communicate with the Operations office to ensure efficient operations that meet customer needs.
- To oversee and liaise with the Forklift team to ensure cargo is handled in good condition
- Assisting goods in /out, where required
- Relevant checks are carried out on all cargo ensuring it arrives and departs in good condition.
- Checking good arrival of all cargo and that it adheres to what is declared on manifests.
- Support the wider Office Team by undertaking other duties to cover absences and/or peaks in business.
- Work to all Company H&S and Compliance requirements
Requirements & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of warehouse supervision with a busy freight or logistics operation
- Forklift license
- Be able to work tight deadlines
- Ability to multitask with a calm and flexible approach
- Positive attitude
- A methodical and organized approach
- Capable of operating with minimal supervision within broad guidelines
- Excellent levels of commitment and motivation and a good communicator
- Computer skills – excel/email etc…
Days and hours: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (flexibility required)
Package: €36,000 (DOE) and bonus plus a phone & laptop
